Southern Iowa Electric Cooperative in Bloomfield, Iowa is actively seeking to hire a full-time Lineman. Journeyman Lineman and Apprectice Lineman resumes will be considered. The candidate must possess a Class A CDL with air brakes. The position will preform assigned work related to construction, maintenance and repair of overhead and underground electric distribution systems and related equipment. Experience with mechanical and hydraulic systems is desirable. Requirements will include working in inclement weather conditions, working overtime and being on-call as required. On-call personnel must establish permanent residency within 17 miles of the cooperative headquarters. This is a union position with an excellent wage and benefit package.
A pre-employment drug screening and physical will be required; in addition to obtaining and completing a pre-employment DOT application.
